Luck, Deceit and Social Media Platforms

Luck, bad if not good, will always be with us.
But it has a way of favoring the intelligent
and showing its' back to the stupid.
-John Dewey

It seems like everyone on social media wins.

How do sportsbooks stay in business when nobody loses?

Most who post have an agenda and little to offer.
Most who post probably aren't in-between grant money disbursements.
Many couldn't spell win if you spotted them the "w" and the "i".

In the past twenty-five years I have read or written hundreds of books and articles concerned with analytics, game theory and money-management.

Most don't understand that there's a difference between handicapping and betting.
Analysis of statistics may remain a constant, but you need to adjust for market changes and game evolution.

There are big advantages for those of us who understand the principles and put in the long hours needed.
We're often working to find new angles and prescient ideas that demand additional research.
Finding these "edges" will dramatically increase your winning %.

There's endless info available to help with your homework, but it's only useful if properly interpreted.

Social Platforms are helpful for:
a) Breaking News
b) Gaming Industry Updates
c) Following sharp money
d) Developing relationships with others who have similar analytical ideologies

Be Wary of:
1)  Posters confusing opinion as fact
2)  Ads disguised as posts
3) Polygenist Thinking.
This is manipulating numbers into preconceived data
    sets that do not work.
This is basically using statistics to justify a wager that isn't warranted.

Most importantly.
Make decisions on your own.
There's a pretty good chance that those posting are in the 99%.

That's the 99% that hardly ever show a profit.

We started kind of slowly but are now #1 everywhere again.
That justifies us at the rare 1%.

It's not too late to turn your season around.
