This'll be a first. We've never backed this big of a favorite in the NFL.
The Commanders have played better than expected, opening the season at 7-2, but against a pretty weak strength of schedule. It should be noted that Cincinnati had lots of injuries at the time.
The Cowboys just don't have that much talent anymore. Take away Micah Parsons on defense and CeeDee Lamb on offense and you're not left with much. They're still NFL players, and could rise to the occasion, but why? There's nothing to play for.
The coach probably won't be back next year. The owner isn't liked and is basically the team's GM, who makes bad decisions, highlighted by bringing back Ezekiel Elliott whose numbers have regressed every year since 2018!
Last Monday night's game wasn't pretty. Take away one big play by KaVontae Turpin and Dallas scores 3 points. Zach Martin left with an injury. Cee Dee Lamb was limited. How can it get better?
I'm not sure. Cooper Rush played OK, but he threw the ball 55 times. That's because Dallas can't run the ball. Trey Lance is the next option, but there's a reason he's hardly ever played as the 3rd pick in 2021.
The Cowboys come in off a short week. The Commanders are coming back home after losing two in a row to very good defenses. Washington players are fighting for a playoff spot. Dallas players are dusting off their golf clubs.
