Another game using old-fashioned handicapping.
But we will need to work through some conflicting narratives.
Denver is traveling 2 games in a row, but Kansas City is coming off a short week, and an overtime game.
The Broncos will have some value, because they’re not as bad as they looked against Baltimore, but they have played a pretty weak strength of schedule.
Denver is fighting for a playoff spot, while Kansas City is playing for homefield advantage. That makes next week’s game against Buffalo much more important.
The Chiefs have covered in half of their home games, while The Broncos have covered in 4 of 5 games away from Mile High Stadium.
Some Additional Thoughts:
1) This number is interesting, but the sample size is too small.
2) Although undefeated, KC only has 2 wins with margins greater than 7 points.
3) There’s a chance Mahomes may not be 100%.
