Navy just lost their first game to a talented Notre Dame team who is one missed field goal away from being undefeated.
The last time they met was the very first game of the 2023 season, now called week zero.
The Midshipmen have pretty much dominated weaker competition. Rice qualifies, but the owls have improved from an embarrassing start, and they do play better at home.
In addition, they were competitive in their last two games against teams that have also improved recently.
They're attractive at this number.
