Coastal Carolina lost last year’s quarterback to North Carolina State, who in-turn, lost playing time to freshman CJ Baily.
Coastal Carolina’s replacement, sophomore Ethan Vasko has been improving.
James Madison lost their first game of the season last week after two dominating wins.
Their quarterback, Alonza Barnett III, has been playing well after getting benched last year but seemed vulnerable last week when finally pressured.
I would expect a similar game plan on Thursday evening.
In addition, JMU beat Coastal by an average of 41 points the last two seasons.
What happened last year or last week isn’t usually replicated in subsequent contests, which helps give this line a little extra value.
