Even though it's the end of the season, this analysis borrows from a lot of old-fashioned handicapping.
The Bengals are on a winning streak and playing behind one of the best quarterbacks in the league. The Steelers are coming off of 3 losses in a succession. Cincy should not have covered against the Broncos last weekend. Their winning streak includes Dallas, Tennessee and Cleveland, who have combined records of 13-35.
Conversely, Pittsburgh has played The Eagles, Ravens and Chiefs...wow.
Their last two games were on the road, and they played Kansas City on very short rest. This will be the toughest defense The Bengals have seen since losing to the Steelers at home.
If not too beaten up, this should be a much easier assignment. Some are saying that The Steelers don't need this game. That's not true. They need to stay ahead of the Chargers for what should be an easier first round playoff game.
