Anyone can make a compelling narrative for either team to win.
Let's try to look at some of the key points. Georgia will be playing previous backup-Gunner Stockton at quarterback. He did a great job coming in for Carson Beck against Texas, but that often doesn't translate to the second start.
Georgia:
1) Two key games:
a) Could easily and probably should have lost to Georgia Tech.
b) Were arguably outplayed by Texas who had more total yardage.
2) Will be without starting quarterback-Carson Beck who declared for the draft. Maybe he didn't think he would start next season.
3) Will be without their punter-Brett Thorson...
Notre Dame:
1) Pretty much dominated previously unbeaten Army and Indiana(before playing OSU), especially with line play. They looked better than the final score indicated against The Hoosiers.
2) Will be without a top defensive linemen-Rylie Mills, but Howard Cross will be returning.
3) Georgia has often been considered a school that has the top defense in the country. But, that could be Notre Dame this season.
