UTSA lost to Army in their last game of the season, but did cover for us. I noted that they definitely have talent, but there will be a class issue if they play high ranked programs.
Coastal is not one of those programs. They’ve lost both starting quarterbacks Ethan Vasko and Noah Kim. Their next up has not impressed. To keep it simple, I rate UTSA’s quarterbacks and Wide receivers as just capable, but improving.
Their quarterback Owen McCown can run a little, but don’t think he’s a breakaway threat, and not sure how he gets listed at close to 200 pounds.
Maybe most importantly, Coastal is losing Clev Lubin who is arguably the best edge rusher in the portal, with 9.5f sacks this season.
He made everyone better around him. Now they’re probably not.
